The Oxford Club Discusses Altcoins and Initial Coin Offerings

The Oxford Club is a highly successful investment advisory group and publisher based in Maryland. It is known for advising the investors about potential opportunities for investments in various financial tools. Recently, it provided a comprehensive and expert note on alternative cryptocurrencies, which is shortly known as “altcoins,” and Initial Coin Offerings. The Oxford Club confirms that both cryptocurrencies and altcoins are providing very high returns, and hence, most investors want to know about it. It says that thousands of cryptocurrencies are there in the market, considering the success of bitcoin.

The financial publication further adds that even individuals can create cryptocurrencies with a group of engineers. The real value of any cryptocurrency and altcoin are their liquid nature which even developers around the world started accepting as a mode of payment. The Oxford Club confirms that initial days of bitcoin was not well promising, but from 2016, its prices have started skyrocketing, and that created a huge demand for alternative cryptocurrencies as well. This has reduced the dominance of bitcoin in the cryptocurrency from 95% to 50%.

Any new altcoins should go through the process of ICO or Initial Coin Offerings that is quite similar to IPO in the case of stocks. The ICOs bring attention to the customers about the new altcoin and generally offered at discounted rates to attract customers. Then, the new altcoin gets traded through cryptocurrency exchange and starts generating profits for ICO holders in the form of collectibles in the proceeds. The Oxford Club, however, warns that few altcoin operators are making excessive profits with higher commission rate, which is a red flag.
